Today is the first day of my blog and also the first day of my new skin treatment to fight against melasma.
Although I think melasma will be with me for the rest of my life, I´m hoping I can start controlling it or at least prevent it from getting worse.
I know there are alot of us out there with the same problem, and only others with melasma can truly understand what we go through.
Yes, I know it is not a life threatening disease. I am grateful for my very health body and happy spirit. Yet I am realistic in my view and believe that this disorder can cause phsycholgical problems in those that are not as strong or optimistic.
Melasma can corrode a strong and confident personality and slowly destroy your self esteem.
That´s why today I start my fight, my personal battle.
