Wow!!!
I haven't been back on the blog for over a year. I just deleted a bunch of spam comments and am thinking of maybe closing the blog.
After I went in for a routine check up an my dermatologist said he "saw" me on internet, I have kind of shied away from posting. Can you believe that???
I continue on a good path. Summers are hard as I do get some darkening but in general with my sunscreen and hat, I am able to lead a normal life. I'm not scared or obsessed anymore and find that I need less time in front of the mirror doing my face in the morning.
I am now 40 years old so I have been under treatment for 2 years.
If I have any loyal followers who wish me to continue blogging or what not, I may continue, just leave me a comment. I will definitely post a complete after picture before I leave.

Thank you so much for telling your story. I have been so upset and bewildered about what to do about my problem with melasma. Unfortunately, my dark spots are even more embarrassing...on my upper lip; think it might even be easier if it was all over?
